The term "Combiner" refers to a model that uses pieces from 2 or more sets to build.

These are Chute Lurkers, a species of Rahi that lived in the city of Metru Nui. They are made using the pieces of 2 of the visorak

This is a Fighting-Type Rakshi, a rakshi combiner made using parts from 2 rakshi.

This is a Fusion Bohrok, a combiner built using pieces from 2 bohrok or bohrok-kal

This is the Kardas Dragon, a combiner made from pieces from Axonn, Brutaka, and Vezon and Fenrakk.

Curator's note: this is the crown jewel of our collection. The Kardas dragon was sold as a retail set including all pieces needed for the combiner, and that retail set can easily go for upwards of $300 on ebay

This is a Nui-kopen, a species of Rahi that lived on the island of Mata Nui. It is made using parts from the Nui-rama set

This is Sentrakh, a dark hunter. He is made using pieces from Keetongu and Sidorak

This is The Shadowed One, the leader of the dark hunters. He is made using pieces from Keetongu and Roodaka

This is a hydra made from Throwbots

Curator's note: throwbots are basically proto-bionicles. They were the Lego Technic theme that preceeded bionicle

This is a Zyglak Lizard, a semi-intelligent species of rahi. It is made using parts from Takadox, Kalmah, and Pridak
