Welcome to the Toa wing of the Galleria! Here you can find all of the Toa bionicle sets included in our collection.

Toa were the heroes of the bionicle story. They tended to fight the forces of evil in teams of 6, with each member color-coded to represent the element they had control over; red for fire, white for ice, blue for water (blue was also the only color that women toa could be in bionicle), brown for stone, black for earth (not to be mistaken for stone, absolutely not), and green for either air or plant-life. Toa also wore powerful masks, also called "kanohi", that granted them further powers such as shielding, levatation, and water breathing.

This is Toa Tahu, the toa of fire. He is the leader of the Toa Mata, the first team of toa released as sets in 2001

This is Toa Kopaka, the toa of ice. He is a member of the Toa Mata, released in 2001

This is Toa Lewa, the toa of air. He is a member of the Toa Mata, released in 2001

This is Toa Gali, the toa of water. She is a member of the Toa Mata, released in 2001. Here she is riding in the alternate model of the Exo-Toa set, released in 2002

This is Toa Pohatu, the toa of Stone. He is a member of the Toa Mata, released in 2001

This is The GWP (Gift With Purchase) version of Toa Tahu, released originally in 2023. It was only available if you purchased $100 worth of products from the Lego website from a few specific themes.

This is the titan version of Toa Takanuva, the toa of light. This version was released in 2008

This is Toa Hordika Vakama, the toa of fire. He is a member of the Toa Metru who was exposed to the Hordika venom, which mutated the entire toa team. It was released in 2005

Curator's note: Many of the bionicles' names were either inspired by or taken directly from the Maori language. If you use Maori pronunciation, this character's name is pronounced Feh-no-ah! In addition, like all of the Hordika in our collection, this set's arms were altered to improve range of motion

Curator's note: This set does not have its original sword because we did not have a copy of the sword in our collection. We hope to find this part soon

Curator's note: Hahli Mahri used several lime green colored pieces. Along with red-brown, all lime green pieces were notoriously fragile from 2007 on. At times even the act of constructing a set or playing with the set could be enough to cause hairline fractures or somplete breaks. In order to preserve the lime green parts in our collection we have opted to use translucent blue in their place

This is Toa Matoro, the toa of ice and the Jesus allegory in the bionicle story. He is a member of the Toa Mahri, released in 2007

Curator's note: I personally was never much of a fan of the way Matoro Mahri originally looked so I decided to alter his build to make it more appealing to myself

This is Toa Kongu, the toa of air. He is a member of the Toa Mahri, released in 2007

This is Rahaga Bomonga, the rahaga of earth. He is a member of the Toa Hagah after they had been mutated by Roodaka. It was released in 2005

Curator's note: This build was altered to give it propeller-like wings on it's back to better match the character's appearance in the Web of Shadows movie

This is Toa Phantoka Kopaka, the toa of ice. He is a member of the Toa Mata, after they received adaptive armor to help in their journey to Karda Nui. It was released in 2008

This is Toa Ignika, the toa of life. He is not a formal member of any toa team, although he did aid the Toa Mata. He is the result of the Kanohi Ignika, the mask of life, taking control of Matoro's body after he sacrificed himself at the end of the 2007 story arc. It was released in 2008
